(1) Define / describe what a webquest is.
- A webquest is a lesson contained completely on a website. Students can visit each step of the lesson and return to each section if needed. Teachers also have a section dedicated for instruction.
(2) Describe how you will use webquests in your classroom when you teach.
- I, personally may never use a webquest in my classroom because I am a Health and Physical Education Major and my focus in my classroom will be on participation and raising one's heart rate. I do think this is a great way to include technology in a classroom especially when a teacher is out for a day or two. I can really only see myself using a webquest when I am absent to assist the substitute teacher in teaching my class for the day I am absent. I could possibly use this option for a health class.
(3) Indicate the pros and cons of using webquests.
- The pros of using webquest is that it can be a vital teaching tool for when a teacher is absent. The lesson that needs to be taught that day no matter the area of studies that the substitute has a degree in, the teacher of the classroom can ensure that students are learning the material needed to move along smoothly with the sylabus. Students can also return to each section if they need to. Students can move at their own pace.
- The cons of webquest is that it is difficult for a Physical Education teacher to integrate technology to begin with so using a specific tool like webquest is not always aplicable.

Reflection on Virtual Tours
(1) What a virtual tour is
- A virtual tour is a tour that can be taken on the computer without the expenses of an actual field trip. It is a website that provides pictures and sometimes video that take the user through a particular It provides access to websites that provide information that could not otherwise be accessible. Tours can take students through museums, galleries, places of special interest and US government buildings. The tours can be viewed for free with access to places all around the world, which is time saving because of the not needed travel time.
(2) How you will use virtual tours in your classroom
- As a Health and Physical Education Major I would probably not use virtual tours simply because of my content area. Reasons I could include a virtual tour into my program would be to show places like the Football Hall of Fame, or famous stadiums that would otherwise not be seen by my students.
(3)Positives and negatives of using virtual tours
- The positives of virtual tours are that they are time and money saving. The tours save money and time because money is not spent on traveling to the desination and also time is not spent on traveling to the destination. The virtual tours are great because they can be visited and revisited. It is also convenient because students can not only revisit but teachers can have students view them at any time because they are on the internet. There are no closings on the internet.
- The negatives of the tour is that the actual atmosphere of the tour is not present. Students do not get the full experience of the actual place where the tour takes place. Not everyone has access or is able to use a computer.

Web Quest Questions
(1) define / describe what a webquest is, (2) describe how you will use webquests in your classroom when you teach, and (3) indicate the pros and cons of using webquests.
1. A web quest is basically a lesson for students online as a website. The website lets students and teachers go through the lesson step by step.
2. I will personally use web quests in my classroom to assist in teaching student content during the course. I could possibly use the web quest for when I am absent from school. The substitute teacher simply has to give the students the website and then the students will be given instructions through the internet. This ensures that the material that I want to be covered will not be forgotten about or taught in the wrong way.
3. The pros of using web quest is that it is an easy way to have students complete tasks that are relevant to the content that is being covered. The cons are that this may be the future of teaching and could potentially replace teacher's jobs.
